Junior Rep Levy
General 2023/24 junior rep levy – $100
As explained on our general junior representative page, junior representative players are charged a levy to contribute to costs incurred by Newcastle City Touch Association for referees at events, general equipment and administration. The levy for the 2023/24 season has been set at $100 per player. The club has worked hard to minimise this amount and it remains unchanged from the 2022/23 season.
The levy will cover the costs associated with:
- Peter Wilson Memorial Championships in Feb 2024
- Junior State Cup in Feb 2024
Note: the general levy is not applicable to any 8s teams.
Levy for other events
The 2023/2024 representative calendar includes a number of other events including the Don Green Western Junior Championships, Central Coast Minis and Wallsend Gala Day. The club incurs significant costs when our teams participate in those events, particularly to supply referees. For the 2023/24 season, the club has decided that no additional levy will be charged for participation in these events on the basis of:
- fundraising at Hornets Regionals in October 2023.
- volunteer assistance at BBQs for junior competition finals.
Thank you to those who have put up their hand to volunteer at these fundraising events. Your efforts have saved in excess of $50 per player for the majority of teams.
How to pay your general levy
