Newcastle City Touch Grounds

Our fields are located within the Newcastle Harness Racing Club. This is just to the east of McDonald Jones Stadium (i.e. where the Knights and Jets play). There are two entrances:

• Drive from Turton Rd, separate entrances for northbound and southound traffic. Park to the north of McDonald Jones Stadium.
• Drive in via Jackson St and park in the Newcastle Harness Racing Club parking area to the south of the track.

Field Numbers

Our seven regular size touch fields are numbered as looking out from the clubhouse from closest to furthest, left to right.

Fields with A or B are half-size fields used for junior age groups 10 years and under. Field 0 (shown on the map above) is an undersized area that is occasionally used for 7 years and under only.
